Banning of Publications

The book with the retelling of the life of Christ was recognized as extremist

St. Petersburg

The prosecutor's office succeeded in banning the book, which is a chronological retelling of the four Gospels. The decision to ban was made by the Smolninsky District Court of St. Petersburg, and on May 5, 2016, the book "The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived" was included in the federal list of extremist materials. Judge Tatyana Matusyak did not involve the Administrative Center of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia in the case. The decision, made without the knowledge of the believers, will be appealed.
