The Bazrova Case in Vladikavkaz

Case History

In April 2026, the North Ossetian Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation initiated a criminal case against Kristina Bazrova. The investigation equated participation in meetings for worship with participation in the activities of an extremist organization. In May, the woman was re-summoned for interrogation, after which she was placed in a temporary detention center for 2 days, and then under house arrest.
