Am 7. Juni 2022 erklärte der EGMR die Liquidation des Verwaltungszentrums und weiterer 395 juristischer Personen der Zeugen Jehovas in Russland, das Verbot ihrer Aktivitäten und die Beschlagnahme von Eigentum für rechtswidrig; Verbot von gedruckten Veröffentlichungen und der offiziellen Website; Darüber hinaus beschloss das Gericht, die strafrechtliche Verfolgung von Gläubigen einzustellen und die Gefangenen freizulassen.
